What these size differences mean
Calculated from the dimensions shown, rounded to 0.1 mm and 1 g. Percentages use the smaller measurement as the reference. Fold and rotation settings affect the dimensions compared.
- Reno15 Pro is 0.9 mm (1.3% relative to iPhone 17) wider. Check this difference against the width of your current device and pocket opening.
- Reno15 Pro is 1.6 mm (1.1% relative to iPhone 17) taller. This describes the body outline; screen diagonal alone does not tell you the overall size.
- Both have the same listed thickness (8 mm) at the displayed precision. Cases and camera protrusions can change the clearance you need.
- iPhone 17 is 10 g lighter. This is the listed device-weight difference, not a measured comfort rating.
Use these figures to compare physical size. They do not establish one-handed reach, pocket fit, durability or an overall winner.
Sources and measurement notes
Sizometry compares published specifications and calculates differences. These are not hands-on measurements or tests of comfort, performance or pocket fit.

Folded and unfolded dimensions differ; cases and camera protrusions may change the space a device needs. Drawings share a relative scale and are not calibrated to life size on your screen.

How to compare phone sizes
Search for your current phone and the model you are considering. Use side-by-side view to compare their outlines, or overlay them to see the difference in height and width. Switch to thickness or weight to compare those measurements separately. You can add up to three devices.
Screen size or body size?
Screen size is the diagonal of the display. Two phones with the same screen diagonal can have different body widths and heights. Check body dimensions when deciding whether an upgrade will feel larger.
Are the outlines life-size?
Devices share a relative scale so you can compare their proportions. Their physical size on your screen depends on your display and zoom; use the measurements in millimetres for the actual dimensions. Cases and camera protrusions can change the fit.
Will a phone fit in a pocket?
The pocket view is a visual reference based on a jeans study, not a guarantee of fit. Pocket openings, fabric, cases and clothing sizes vary. Compare the listed phone dimensions with your own pocket.
Where do the measurements come from?
Device pages include specifications and source links. Preview models label estimated information separately; check those labels before treating an unreleased device’s dimensions as final.
